Inspired by one of my all time favorite feelings, 'calaverita' embodies the joy of decorating my altar for, & celebrating, Día de Muertos; getting all the photos of my ancestors out, setting out my abuelita's ashes, as well as all the bones I've gathered over the years. This yarn captures the beautiful colors, the essence of the delicious pan dulce I set out each year, the music & dancing & laughing, & taking time to remember loved ones who have become ancestors.

PLEASE NOTE: I use acid dyes &, though I rinse very thoroughly, some light bleeding may occur at first wash. Non-superwash yarns should be hand washed gently in cold water to avoid felting.
No two skeins will look exactly the same due to the human nature of hand dyeing as hand dyed yarn has a tendency to vary between dye lots but also within the same dye lot. Colorways will also vary from base to base because of different fiber content, plies, and whether the wool is treated or untreated. Because of the nature of untreated (nonsuperwash) wool, colors will show less vividly on these bases and the speckles will spread more and have more of a watercolor effect than a crisp dot look. Please use the photos as a reference for how the color will look across bases.
Dyed in a pet-free, smoke-free environment.
Yarn is photographed to the best of my ability in order to show true colors, but due to monitor settings, etc, there may be slight differences.
